Farther along...Moose study... 9"x 12" oil

okay...played with it some today...and to be honest, I'm not sure I care for what I did...

It feels a bit busy right now...but I'm inclined to try and build some vegetation in the foreground...water type, that the moose is wading thru...and decide after that if I scrape out much of what I've done, maybe paint out the background...leave it as a moose study....

Its small...only a study, no harm done if I wipe it out and start over...and one learns by trying, pushing the envelope, and not fearing failure. We'll see where it goes...

comments certainly welcome...

OK, because you mentioned comments are most welcome I felt it was a perect opportunity for me to stop lurking and tell you how much I enjoy your blog.

That both you and your son are so talented, is a very interesting twist too.

You give so much back with your blog and books, and although I am not an artist I do enjoy to paint and I guess I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your tips and prespectives on painting.
