Took out the three pound can of white oil paint
for the next session (no skimp'n on a painting
this size!)...starting letting the snow and light be
felt a bit more. Beefed up darks as accent marks
on the tree.
Painted in dead leaves, some suggestion of
brush...well, more...but here it is. Click on larger
image to see it all. More work yet for sure, but
I'm having fun to paint this size, gettn this far in
under four hours total. Makes me think I might
be able to do this as a plein air, if I can ever
afford a Gloucester outdoor easel.
