An outdoor painter by preference- (setting up on location to paint from life), the works of this blog will be frequent exercises painted from whatever strikes my fancy with intent to sharpen my eye, push and stretch my understanding of paint. Note that my links will include my larger artist's site, and latest available giclee prints at Image Kind. Feel free to inquire to the availability of any works seen here.

You're right....amazing what may seem like a minor change executed well becomes a work levels above the average. Congrats!
thanks Sheila...appreciate your time to share some affirmation on this one.. 8^)
Hi Larry,
Saw your lure paintings and thought they looked interesting. I did some in colored pencil once I thought were cool looking. I even did a cork. Heres one I did a long time ago:

Very nice! Jack would be proud as he is also an artist of a different canvas. I'll see him this weekend at our Muskies Inc. meeting and let him know about your work. Congrats on a job well done!
thank J-Rod...
my father was a sportsfishing guide, on the big pond...(salmon, Lake Trout, coho, browns, etc)..passed on now. Love outdoor activities, living here in the north woods, a national forest in Wisconsin.
We have some fine musky patrolling the waters in areas of northern Wisconsin...and a co-worker, a teacher...himself a musky guide was so kind to share some of his lures with me. Much fun to study and paint...and one he prized was signed by Jack himself.
