Long Slide Falls...oil 14"x 11" plein air






















Painted this afternoon in Marinette County, roughly 40 minutes NE of home, on the Peme Bow Won river..."Long Slide Falls" and a gorgeous sun-filled day it was!  Here you see my Guerrilla paint box and tripod easel set-up along the river, (clicking on image brings up larger view)-

no..didn't run out of gouache, Rene...ran out of excuses to avoid my oils any longer!! hahaaa...my first love, really..

goauche I believe, is helping me be a better oil painter, or so the intention is...
