My First Gouache Attempt...

Thanks to New Yorker artist friend, Fred Harper
...for so generously sharing some gouache with me
to experiment with, I've made my first attempt
that will lead to one more option for plein air
work...

Wauw, you definitely should explore this a little more!!

It looks that if you done it ages, or that it is written on you skin to do it. Anyway it fit's you like an glove.

Lovely lovely lovely!

thanks Rene...really appreciate the encouraging word here...and will explore more for sure. A complement medium to oils I think.

Somewhat similar to casein I believe, though with casein you can then paint oils over if you so choose...
