That's really cool . . . I also like the music and the goose samples. I saw a short seminar last weekend about owls. I was lucky enough to see 7 different species right up close, got to watch a Barn Owl eat a mouse . . . that was cool. Anyways, among many strange things, did you know that Great Horned Owls can kill Geese? Crazy.
Fantastic Larry! Wonderful demo - oh, were it so simple as you make it appear.
thanks Jason...that's pretty cool to see those birds up close...probably birds from a rehab center I take it.
Hadn't heard that about killing geese...wow! Did Beau get to see them as well...or a seminar just for adults?
Thanks Celeste...nothing easy about acknowledging 30 years plus time of painting has gone by! hhahaa... I fight that truth of that every single day!
take care
Great video. Love watching it come together. It is amazing to me how each little note of paint gives just enough information to make this painting seem so real.
This one is a beaut Larry. The color notes are really strong and harmonize for a peaceful feeling. Well done. I'm going to check out the demo at home. My workplace blocks all video.
thanks anna...
was just mentioning to another artist it is amazing (perhaps in a way only an artist can understand) how surrounded by warms and neutrals, a bit of grayish blue can feel quite very blue and simulate the presence of sky. A fun one to paint..
thanks Tim..appreciate your comments and time, very much
I plan on putting about 14 such short videos together on one DVD that I'll eventually make available. Might as well do something with them, eh? 8^)
This a wonderful video. Will probably watch many times. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise to us wannabees.
