Set a mirror up next to my paintbox and
started this yesterday, but time was limited...
finished today and had some fun. Spent time
taking note of every color I could detect in
the iris...and obsessed with edges, softening
and obscurring till felt just right. Here is a
closeup of the iris so you can see the color
and brushwork-
