Several Plein airs...and, framed in floating L-Frames

Three pieces...plein air (painted on location)...on their way to the Brush With the Wind Exhibition, held by Richesons...


























I built floating L-frames, two of red oak, and the other maple...which I painted and gave metal flakes, then rubbed with finishing wax...

I still like lurking around your blog. Don't have much time to comment. These frames and paintings are great. I especially like the last one of a fellow artist I suppose.

Thanks Jo...life has a way of getting busy. Appreciate your taking time to comment. Painting the artist, Steve Beaubien...was a fun piece. I wasn't particular excited about the view of the spot we were set up...but watching the light play off Steve while he was painting seemed an instant no-brainer as my perfect subject...
