Beta Tested..Go To Meeting...and Webinars Coming Soon!!!

Great night following my beta testing with F&W Publications (Wetcanvas.com, Northlight Books, Artist Magazine, Artist Network...etc.,) ...here you see a snapshot of one of my power point presentations on "Composition For the Painter"....and in fielding questions from attendees online in the virtual Go To Meeting environment, I can use my Facetime to pull up my Mac camera...and talk to you, to everyone...real time!  It was pretty cool.

Many possibilities to come...using my Canon 2XL...and firewire connection, I could walk you thru actual live time painting demonstration and discussion.  I could use my wacom digital tablet to draw, sketch out...to teach, or one lesson might invite attendees to send me several examples of their work to analyze, critique and talk specifics about improving.  What makes paintings work for the reasons paintings work, etc.,

All cool stuff.  So...if you've checked this blog from time to time to observe my experiments, pushes, thinking out loud....etc., you are sure to enjoy these webinar offerings!!!

When do you think you will be able to offer some of these things as lessons for the public? Or , will all go online at the same time thru webinar? (such as Johannes?) You have a lot to offer, more understanding and esperiance in my book, so this all makes sense to try and reach more with todays technology. I am aware that you were, (are) large behind the WetCanvas name and site, so I would trust any and all you had to offer. So, what is next for this venture?

Hi Ida...I haven't really followed Johannes webinars, so not sure what "at the same time" refers to, except maybe that live sessions are recorded, and then perhaps available for folks that maybe did not participate in the live/real time experience. That being said, they would like me to start as early as this October. It would be one lesson/session at a time, but I believe same thing they would like to make each session available then later (recorded) for those that did not participate live. Hoping that answers your questions. Thanks too BTW...very kind.

Oh, this is a great idea - so many will benefit from your experience and insight!

With regard to Johannes's classes, I think that all the classes became available online once the sessions ended - they were not available "the next week" or something similar. As far as I know, everyone was fine with this arrangement.
