Ever intend for what seems forever to enjoin that which you well know would serve to benefit your painting as a career? Well...mind you I've been painting professionally since 1980...and with some reputation early...but just this month/year have finally broke down and submitted for membership in the American Impressionist Society and the Oil Painters of America. Pleased to have been accepted into both...and now will begin a long over due process of entering exhibitions.
Tonight enjoying the lecture of museum curator of Wisconsin Art Museum's Graeme Reid...on the times of the Impreessionts...Ladies of the night...reality of poverty and plight of French/Parisian woman. This...in Wisconsin's northwoods! Who'da thought?
