Pine River...on linen...session two...

A chance to paint a bit more today, and the aim is a painterly statement that finds its sense of realism in limited refinement, color mood versus areas of understatement.

Impressive... Yesterday it was the true material evidence of the stroke, today the organ pipes architecture of the trees in the background.

Lovely Larry,

Hope you enjoy you extra time without WC. I do when you post these nice painting examples!

thanks Jean...Rene...
Its a bit odd in a way, not having that routine of presence required on WC...and now just posting here and there regarding my work, or commenting on others...

But...I am grateful for less stress in trying to navigate demands and my time, focusing more on my painting, my music...

I think my wrestling with this piece from here will be tweaks with values, accents to push depth illusion a bit...a tad in the foreground...a little in the water..
