An outdoor painter by preference- (setting up on location to paint from life), the works of this blog will be frequent exercises painted from whatever strikes my fancy with intent to sharpen my eye, push and stretch my understanding of paint. Note that my links will include my larger artist's site, and latest available giclee prints at Image Kind. Feel free to inquire to the availability of any works seen here.

There's a gentleness to this that exudes calm and a feeling that summer is with us.
Larry, I really like this. Wonderful use of color and brushwork!
Thanks Mick...Helen...it had "paint me!" all over the spot as I pulled over to park.. 8^)
Beautiful work----looks like home here!
thanks Ida...
Very nice Larry. I have some canvas paper for watercolor use. Thought I'd glue to some card board panel and gesso the canvas. How can you attach the canvas to some cardboard panel. Just using them for practice and thought of using the backboard of 9x12 paper pads like watercolor pads and drawing paper pads as my material to use for the canvas. I thought it would be useful someday.
Love your scene there, nice colors and overall appeal.
I ordered Lineco adhesive, Kirby...which is a really nice gluing for canvas, linen...paper, etc., Thanks much...appreciated
