Hi Larry,
"to be finished.."
Are you sure?
Look over you shoulder.
Do you see the individual standing behind you with a large mallet?

LOL

I just love it the way it is now.

take care

oh yeah...aware he is CONSTANTLY there standing behind me. He lives a much stress free life now though. Imagine his life back when I used to put 200 hours into a single painting!!!

The essentials of this work, the color, light, drama, composition are working. Won't change that..just tidy up and refine a bit to suit my aesthetic sensibilities.

thanks...fun stuff 8^)

Well, I follow your art the last couple of years now (wetcanvas, your blog and so)and if I humbly may say so, I thinkthat gouache gave a tickle to your painting, including oils, and the paintings become more... brighter I think, and more impressionistic, in a loose manner but never sloppy.

BIG evolution from that 200 hours!
Now you just slap in the canvas a couple of times, give it a severe look, a smile and ... voilá! ;)

thanks xavier...but, as you may well already know, such experience does not come without a long many years paying dues. When you've worked that long for what success does come your way, there is no room for gloating or ego. More by way of default of working and having enjoyed living long enough...

appreciated, certainly

thanks Rafael... appreciated
