Plein Air tonight...Peshtigo River Road... 9"x 12"

Winter hangs on stubbornly in northern Wisconsin, but
any bit of early sign of spring is welcome. Warming temps,
daylight savings extending the day...but especially the light
of the sun!

This was done tonight down the road from my home, around
a corner of a bend on a national forest road...

9"x 12" oil...

Now that will scare the winter away!! so much warm colors and light, winter must become aware that it's a lost struggle.

Well done Larry!

Lovely light on the snow, great selection of greens and a realistc rendition of the dirt on the track. Great work.

thanks Rene and Mick...
it was very relaxing and appreciated to get out and away from everything. I've been experiencing a lot of stress the past few weeks with things at the school...senior class advisory things. Felt good...like breathing fresh air, rejuvenating the senses to paint last light out in the national forest.

Had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to get where I went..

peace

This is really nice dad, I love how you capture the light hitting the snow . . .
