Moved...new house, looking for new online connection!

Just so anyone visiting knows, my wife and I bought
a new house...rural, and we no longer have a DSL
provider. Don't want to go backwards to dial-up...
and just tried unsuccessfully to use an AT&T aircard
which only had one bar strength. Took about seven
minutes wait for a simple webpage to come up.

So...looking at Wild Blue satelite quite possibly.
May take a little while, but I'll check in where and
when I can. 'Til then...thanks for stopping by..

thanks Rob...catching a moment online here and there where and when I can.

Connection by satelite has been ordered...so within the next two weeks I should be back up to speed ready to rock n' roll...

month of July turned out to be a good month of paintings sold for me too, in a gallery here in northern Wisconsin. Always find out end of month...so any luck August will prove good as well.

Saving up for a huge (11.5 horse) snowblower!!!! hahaaa...

Hey Frank...
any time you visit would be warming, even painting in winter!!!! hahaaa...

Miss being online regularly...but hopefully soon my connection will be completed.

take care...thanks for stopping by...

Wild Blue works for us (in the West). We could not see the Direct part of the sky.

We saved some money by having a pole in place to which to attach the dishes. It should have a view of the right part of the sky for your area.

I wish we never got the TV however...

well, we have it on order, whenever the Wild Blue guy installs. Soon hopefully.. (as I beg, borrow and steal a chance to get online where and when I can! hahaa)

Hi Larry,
I've been wondering what happened to you online! Forgot you were moving and now waiting to get reconnected to the rest of the world....don'tcha luv technology!?

Hope you get back online soon and your snow blower arrives. I would be a long winter without either one!

thanks Ron...
yeah, my cellphone vibrated during my last art instruction, so I couldn't answer it. As I suspected, it was the installer for Wild Blue...and so, we lose out for the day.

I gave 'em my wife's cellphone, emailed it to them...but apparently they don't check email or pass notes on to appropriate channels. So, dang...outta luck now 'til the guy can reschedule us in.

So...the drama continues...
