Stilllife Painting-Oil... Banana...

8"x 10" oil

Here is a short video of this painting
step by step. Time lapsed low
resolution...courtesy of YouTube.
Enjoy!

I did this tonight as a video demonstration
and tomorrow will experiment editing with
iMovie...and the purpose was to explain just
briefly the split-complementary palette, the
painterly approach...and then paint.

here was my camera set up...a dandy of a camera,
Canon XL2

Great fun viewing your video Larry. I really like hearing you the artist explain what's going on. I also found it very interesting to see how you signed your name. I'll be looking forward to the next one.

Larry,

Loved the demo. Am checking out your Waterfalls in Oils as well right now. You have a fantastic voice! I also enjoyed your guitar playing in the bg. Getting to see an artist working in the studio is such a treat, and quite frankly I cannot get enough. Keep up the fantastic work!

Carry on! :)

Wow, thanks for the Banana/Split on YouTube!! MORE, please!! The music was GREAT, by the way. I hope you'll do more of these. I definitely plan to buy your CD book, too. Great stuff.
