My Son Jason...painting in Alaska

5"x 7" oil...

I painted this in the same spirt of being
on location and from life, urging myself on
as though I were limited to ideal light and
time, going for minimal necessary
marks and impressions. Had fun...

Jason came up my second week in Juneau,
and I really enjoyed his company both as
painters and as a couple of guys having fun!

First I want to thank you for giving me the inspiration to set up my own blog. Please see Artist Block Judy Virostek

I have followed your paintings and find your time and dedication to painting so passionate. I hope I can once again gain what I have lost.

Thanks again, Judy Virostek
