Ruffed Grouse Society auction

16"x 20" acrylic on canvas

A reversion or throwback to my wildlife art era, tonight
I was the featured guest artist for NE Wisconsin's Ruffed
Grouse Society fundraising banquet. What makes this
event fun for members is that I paint the subject (in this
case the Redhead ducks) at the event and have to finish
before the live auction begins.

They put on a great dinner...and I enjoy being able to
use my talents as an artist for such causes. In this case
money raised goes to habitat management and improve-
ments in northern Wisconsin for the Ruffed Grouse.

A conservation game warden put forth the winning bid,
and is his second original of mine he now owns.
